Cybersecurity Analyst (L1/L2)

Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats across client environments. Conduct vulnerability assessments, remove malware, and help organisations implement zero-trust security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM dashboards and triage security alerts for client environments
• Conduct malware, ransomware, and rootkit removal and incident response
• Perform vulnerability assessments and produce remediation reports
• Configure endpoint security, EDR solutions, and centralised antivirus management
• Set up and enforce MFA, password policies, and Zero Trust access controls
• Conduct phishing simulations and employee security awareness training
• Audit and review firewall rules, network ACLs, and security policies
• Monitor dark web credential leaks for client domains and users

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of cybersecurity, SOC, or IT security experience
• Knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar)
• Hands-on experience with endpoint security and EDR solutions
• Understanding of OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR frameworks
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, OpenVAS)
• CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong analytical and investigative mindset
• Ability to write clear incident reports and executive-level summaries
