Network Support Engineer

Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, VPNs, firewalls, and routers for corporate clients. Ensure zero-downtime connectivity for our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Remotely diagnose and resolve internet, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity issues
• Configure and manage routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, MikroTik, TP-Link, Netgear)
• Set up and support VPN solutions (OpenVPN, Cisco AnyConnect, WireGuard)
• Configure DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLAN, and port forwarding rules
• Monitor network performance using PRTG, Nagios, or similar tools
• Manage static IP configurations, bandwidth throttling, and QoS settings
• Assist in wireless network design and dead-zone elimination
• Respond to P1 network outage tickets within 15-minute SLA

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of networking or infrastructure support experience
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting, and routing protocols
• Hands-on experience configuring routers and managed switches
• Familiarity with Windows Server (DHCP/DNS roles) and basic Linux networking
• Understanding of VPN technologies and firewall rule management
• CCNA or equivalent network certification preferred
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to work on-call for critical network emergencies
